This building was designed for healing practice and the gathering of small groups of people. The sanctuary looks out over the Catskill range and sits on the edge of a tulip poplar forest. The buildings frame is tulip poplar and harvested from where the building sits. The building geometry is formed by twin pentagons each with it own pentagonal skylight that brings natural sun and moon light within. The building is insulated with straw bale in-fill and salvaged polystyrene panels. The interior finishes include earthen clay plaster walls, earthen clay floor and
natural river stone inlays collected from the peterskill.
The exterior breezeway is finished with pine siding boards that were salvaged from the buildings foundation form work. The pentagon structures are clay coated with lime finish paint
