To revive the art of building and grow a culture of artisanal craft in building trades, we hope to raise awareness toward a more holistic view on our built environment and how we live on the earth. A primary consideration in our design and building practice is to create living systems that support health and well being. Advancing our understanding of the environments we interact with through innovative systems and appropriate use of technology 

 

​To transition toward bio-based and earthen materials for building is a necessary step to building healthy living environments. May we move beyond the current reliance on global supply chains and toxic legacies to develop our network of bio-regional economies. The design of buildings within these regional vernaculars should inspire creativity and a sense of place in pristine natural habitats. 

 

To approach living systems with sensitivity and learn to adapt and use natural cycles to cultivate regeneration and enhance ecological diversity in these dynamic living systems, we hope to contribute to abundant landscapes where our patterns of living are aligned with healthy ecology's and those natural rhythms and patterns of nature.
